I updated the screen shots to take into consideration some suggestions I got and to show that I no longer have the check to see if a layout has files, but I disable the burn button until the user has added files. Happy Andrew?

This is much of an improvement yes. and you got the spacing fixed too, booyah. As for whether I am happy, well, we shall talk more about that come audio cd’s, mixed session, dvd, and multiple sessions….
Basically… when I don’t even need to contemplate using a command line tool or K3b to burn things when in gnome, I will then be happy about the total state of coaster.
Why not move the sound notification to the general "Desktop Preferences > Sound"?
And only keep a check box for enabling both sounds. Or just combine them to one option "Enable sound".
Or actually call it "Sounds for events".
As the enable already becomes clear by using the checkbox.
Just to nitpick, one more thing I just noticed
You don’t need to put a colon after the bold headings in dialogs.
Looking forward to the release, cuz this is looking good
The size of the disk should be automatically detected by the CD in the drive along with the settings for which drive to burn to, and that should be easily changable without going into preferences IMO.
