Ok, I have a little rant. Why is it that people think that they can just put bug reports anywhere they want? Take, for instance, one of the jewels in the comments of this post. I could see not knowing where to put bug reports if I hadn’t linked to the Coaster bugzilla page, but come on people! I think I’m going to pull a Murray and not acknowledge these problems until I get a real bug report. I can’t be responsible for posts in places I don’t check. Do you really expect me to check 1500 different websites for bug reports?
If you find a bug in Coaster please file a bug report at our bugzilla page. Thanks!
P.S. Sorry for the earlier rant.
Today is the day. I have just released Coaster 0.1.0 upon the world. Remember: THIS IS BETA (maybe even alpha or negative omega) SOFTWARE. For now, it only burns data CD’s (audio is planned, as well as mixed mode and dvd), but I’m pleased with it. Please try it out and report any bugs that you find (I know that they exist).
I have also updated the screen shots for Coaster. Not much has changed, but I thought I’d post them anyway.
I updated the screen shots to take into consideration some suggestions I got and to show that I no longer have the check to see if a layout has files, but I disable the burn button until the user has added files. Happy Andrew?
I just updated my web page with a screen shots of Coaster. Check them out and let me know what you think of them. These screen shots are of the release I’m planning on releasing by Friday. Stay tuned!
