Just a couple of random questions that I’ve had over the last week:
- When did they start showing reruns of primetime shows in the middle of a season? (My Name is Earl, The Office, Supernatural, etc.)
- When did it become cool for guys to wear girls clothes? (I keep seeing it over and over on American Idol)
So, I had no clue that my blog was read by people other than people on The Planet and my wife. It turns out that someone from Django read my comments and thought they were good enough to put in a blog post on the main Django site. Good thing I didn’t say anything stupid :).
Man, I’ve been busy lately and haven’t had any time to work on Coaster. I haven’t even really had much time for anything other than work. Although I’ve had fun doing it, it’s been hectic.
Most of my time lately has been spent working on converting Master Packing’s current website over to Django so we can quickly develop new applications and easily edit content. I’ve been very impressed with Django’s infrastructure and API, and I’m even more impressed with how the next version is shaping up to look like. They’ve changed it so that a lot of the “magic” is gone and the API is improving. 1.0 should be sweet.
Happy birthday to my sister-in-law. It’s her golden birthday this year and her sweet 16. Happy birthday, Courtney!
So, I dropped Nucleus in favor of WordPress. I’m pretty impressed with it and its editor, plus it’s pretty sleek. Now to get The Planet to update my feed link…
